Shortly before Mother’s Day, we traveled a distance to Wavra Farms and Nursery to purchase 2 lavender topiary trees. I planted them in identical planters with identical soil and drip system by my 2 porch pillars. One is healthy, one turned half dead, dry and brittle. I tried to get them to respond online and there was no response. Today I dug up the half dead one and traveled the distance again, expecting a replacement or a refund. They would not consider either, said I’d had them too long and I had mistreated them by putting them by a glass window or mirror that burned the plant. I was unprepared for such poor customer service, that they would not stand behind their product and I told them I would not be back. I would not recommend this nursery...

They specialize in bedding plants of all kinds and gorgeous hanging baskets and gifts containers, all expertly designed. Prices are more than reasonable. Another greenhouse has veggies, shade plants and more. You can find many unusual trees, shrubs and perennials in in the well designed display areas. I was quite impressed with the selections I hadn’t seen elsewhere for very sensible pricing. Staff are always kind and helpful every time I’ve visited. Read moreMy husband and I called around to every garden nursery in the tri-county area (26 places!) looking for a common, but specific color hibiscus (Rose of Sharon). The lady here was EXTREMELY friendly, didn't rush us, and was VERY helpful over the phone (twice) and in person :-) I wish I could have bought more plants from her. I so appreciate YOU! We walked away with what we wanted at an EXCELLENT price!! $38.99 for a 3 gal. pot for a very healthy bush! We will definitely keep them in mind for our other gardening plant needs.
