Dollar General — Local services in Salesville

Although the store was clean and food was fine, the service was horrendes. I used self checkout in order to scan my items, but there was a line of 2-3 people waiting for store checkout, with only one worker. She was behind the conveyor assisting one of the few customers, and suddenly just walked out with her phone. Not sure if she even informed the customer she had to leave. There was nobody else to assist the customer at the time, and he looked quite mad about the whole situation as I was exiting the store. While driving off, I took THIS photo of that SAME of your workers standing outside next to her car smoking a cigarette whilst laughing and yelling on the phone, while she still had about 2 or 3 customers needing assistance. This is just very annoying for people who don’t want or know how to use the self checkout. Did not get her name, but please look into this. The employees were so helpful since we had not ever been there, in that town. They were nice and respectful. I wish that the dollar general owners knew that some of these stores can not hold all of the products being ordered. And it just looks cluttered. Especially with the carts in the isles.
