I have a package coming from Paraguay that I needed ASAP to make modifications to for my baby’s Labor Day cultural performance. They told the sender I’d get it Tuesday. That package got from Paraguay to Utah faster than it had gotten from SLC to my house.
Its been here since Monday. I asked to pick up at DHL express; they said the address was wrong and consignee moved. I contacted customer service, they set it to pick up in draper on Tuesday. Didn’t get there. I ask, TWICE; they said it’s still coming Tuesday.
I ask later that day, they say “oops, something happened, so tomorrow”.
Well, Wednesday comes along and I’m worried, so I contact again, and they didn’t answer any question and closed the chat. I talk to someone again and they said “100%” it will be ready for pickup today (Thursday). I ask if I can just go get it in Salt Lake, and they said no.
I contact them this morning because no updates on status, no ETA on tracking and to be sure it’s coming today and they said, no, it’s going to be there FRIDAY. So if Friday comes and something happens my babies won’t be able to dance. They will be heartbroken. Traditional Paraguayan dance costumes aren’t something you just can pull out of thin air.
How is it possible that my package had been in Utah this long but can’t make it from SLC to draper? And why does customer service tell me something different every time? Extremely...
Read moreNormally wouldn't go out of my way to review a delivery service, especially since I appreciate how DHL can get a package from South Korea to my door in as little as 2-3 days, but since I was directly asked to review and my last experience didn't meet my standards here I am. Part of the signature release agreement is to deliver in a specific place instead of getting my signature. Since I don't have a functional front door to give a quick signature and I don't ever have a way to know when deliveries will happen and if I'll be home, I have been trusting signature release with a BACK DOOR delivery for years, most of the time it works out great, but this time, and I think at least one other time earlier this year, those instructions were ignored and my package was left out in the open on the front porch, thankfully I WAS home, but DHL as a whole getting rid of text message notifications and only providing the option for email did delay my notification of delivery as email apps don't ever process as fast as texting services do. This service is the cheapest and fastest, and sometimes ONLY option, to get stuff from overseas, which are harder to replace than locally shipped items, so it would be appreciated if I can always get my deliveries securely and not at risk of being stolen before I can...
Read moreMy package was never delivered yet. They know it is their fault. My daughter and I were expecting packages, one for each of us. They delivered only my daughter's and sent delivery proof picture of my daughter's to both of us. They used one pic for both though they did not deliver mine. I wonder why this survey was sent to me. I am still waiting for their answer. They said they'll update by monday 21th. But today (monday) they sent me another message that they will follow up tomorrow again. When I call them the number they gave me, they don't answer. I am so frustrated. They don't know where my package is. I am so disappointed by their unprofessional service. I will never use DHL again, and never recommend it to others. If you can't track where my package is, call the sender that you lost it so that I can get my money back at least. That is the least DHL can do. It's been five days already. Please do something, please. Update: The package just got delivered within a couple of hours of my complaint. Thank you for the quick response this time. I understand mistake s can happen, but I wouldn't feel this angry if they updated me. Changed one...
