Dollar General — Local services in Saltillo

This is the second time I’ve gone into this store to purchase a few household items and groceries with my boyfriend (who has visible sleeve tattoos) and we have been not only profiled, but also stalked by the manager I believe his name is Maurice and he has also instructed some of his employees to “babysit us“ while we are doing our shopping. We have never stolen from any store and we’re not quite sure why this is the second time in a row that we have been profiled and judged and stalked in this manner while trying to complete our shopping, when we left today, the manager was even outside staring at our car watching us leave on his cell phone as if he were maybe calling authorities or doing some type of reporting or recording of my license plate number. I am very disturbed by this, it was a zero out of 10 customer experience. We will not be back to the location even though it is like 2 miles away from our home, we would gladly travel farther away into the city to be able to shop comfortably and not be judged, scrutinized and profiled because of the way that my husband looks. The lady that checked me out CLEARLY didn’t want to be there. Had an attitude. Was not polite at all! Also, claimed she could NOT pick up my washing detergent which weighs all but 4 pounds if that? If that’s the case she shouldn’t be working..or complaining! So frustrating how much retail has gone down hill with true customer service now...
