We always come away with having had a great meal here and great service. The atmosphere can be a little hit or miss depending on when you eat there and how crowded it is, how long the wait it, or how noisy and such. The owners and staff strive to provide a good meal and dining experience. We have eaten here many times and I've eaten most things on the menu. I have never had anything here I didn't like and they do an above average job at cooking the meats to the wellness you requested. Their salad bar is outstanding with a varied variety of items but the salad bowls are those sort of small cheaply made wooden- like bowls. They bring in quite the crowd as this restaurant is only opened the latter part of the week and on the weekend nights. Parking can be tricky if you have never eaten here. The restaurant sits on a little hill with a circle type drive and a couple large trees to park around/navigate in and out. There is usually overflow parking in a lot across the road from the restaurant. If it's crowded or tables are full, there is a sign up for tables. The side door is actually where you go in and the front door (near the cash register) is where you exit. There are tables that seat 4 and larger tables, and tables can be pulled together usually in certain areas as well for a bigger group. They have a child's and/or sr meal section on the menu. The food is prepared fresh after ordering. There is only 1 bathroom that is just a single toilet and 1 sink bathroom. It is usually kept clean but the bathroom door opens right into the dining area, so it is sort of unnerving to use for fear a door locking mishap could occur and there you...
Read moreThe reason I give 2 stars instead of 1 is that they sport a nice salad bar and the service was ok. The steak on the other hand still had the marks where the jockey beat the old nag to death. Fyi 3 of us had the steak and all agreed. Prices are so low that the quality of meat purchased had to be sacrificed. Best advice is raise the price to 1970’s steak house price of $18.95 and buy better meat. So if you want to sit and eat a steaks in a particle board walled environment with someone with leopard crocks and a fake Louis Vuitton ENJOY!! Go to McDonald’s and have a good meal and your jaw will thank you in the morning for not trying to chew the leather thing they...
Read moreVery casual, down-home steakhouse. This place has been open for decades. Like hundreds of other people, I have been a return customer throughout all that time. Gary and Chuck make the ribeyes exactly how you want, and everything on their simple menu is consistently good. The proof is in the amazing number of local regulars who keep on coming to Reeve's. If you're wanting to go to a formal restaurant, this ain't it, but they will cook food that you like better, they will show their appreciation for your business by treating you like they know you, you'll be more comfortable, and it'll all be be half the price. There just isn't a violin player...
