I’ve been to a fair number of commissaries, this one is managed with mediocrity. They often run out of popular items and instead of restructuring the store to allow for more stock, they just run out frequently. Also, I was here for a course in February 2021 when a snowstorm hit. The manager didn’t adjust the Google maps page to show differing hours, just randomly closed the store. I can understand efforts to keep employees safe, but people also need to eat. The manager could have simply adjusted for later, daytime hours making traveling safer. I’ll bet the local grocery store or Walmart didn’t completely close, but I had no way to know since I didn’t have a car and couldn’t leave anyway due to Covid...

It doesn't last longer than the day you buy it. Potatoes and onions I've bought, have looked fine on the outside but once cut into they're already bad and starting to rot/turn green. Some of the produce prices are also much higher than Walmart or HEB. I have no had any issues with getting bad ground beef or pork products. I have been able to find a handful of products here that I cannot find anywhere...
