Awesome surf spot. Super cold water in a series of predictable waves. The rocks make it tough to get out into it, so take it easy and watch your step. Real nice variety of waves for everyone to enjoy- beginner all the way to big long pipes. A must see if you're in the area! Be sure to stock up on food/water/sunscreen as it's fairly remote and there is nothing available on the beach. Just pure...

My father passed away here. His name JOSEPH JOHN ROSOL, aka JAY. #JAYROSOLONESURF. We had not seen each other in 10 years. We finally got to meet in Texas. He met his grandson. I liked the vibe and organic feeling of this beach. Mostly surfers and few beach goers who really love the beach, due to the 1 mile hike on old asphalt that you have to complete to reach the beach. Pack light and enjoy the natural setting...

Epic surf spot. Keeps the riff raff out of the water because it’s a long 1 mile plus walk to get to the beach and no place to rent boards on the beach. Strong local presence. TIP: Trail head is at East side of highway exit 72.
