My boyfriend bought me flowers today but I ended up being more stressed out and frustrated than anything. His gesture meant everything to me but the flower shops difficulty with delivery really made it into something ugly. I don't know how many times he put the correct name of the airline I work for (Southwest) in the order, but they attempted to deliver to JetBlue. When they saw jetblue was closed they gave up and went home. They left me a VM but never answered any calls back or texts. It took another hour to get coordinated with the guy to drop them off by which time the surprise was ruined, my break was over, I was unhappy, and they didn't even end up getting delivered to me. I friend of mine had flowers delivered to my home recently and to say I’ve had immense trouble receiving parcels at this specific apartment would be an understatement. Most of the time the delivery courier just leaves the package laying around and it ends up getting stolen or they return it back to sender. This was not the case with Iris’ Flower Shop delivery. The courier was having a difficult time locating my apartment as I expected, however, she texted me for help to find where to go and she even sent me pictures of where she was parked so I could direct her to the leasing office.
