The five children who were servers at theresa's today were fabulous. Clearly the beautiful little blond girl with freckles and hair in a ponytail stole the show. Her little brother the red head with freckles was ready to do anything his sister wanted. With the delivery of the gifts to the alter the little girlsix years old I'd guess took the lead. She placed the bread on the alter and her little brother the wine. He came to the back of the alter to stand by his sister and she clearly instructed him to go back to the alter to help. He dutifully goes to the alter and the decon asks him what are you doing here. He not wantingto tattle on his sissy just says I'm here to help. The Deacon waves him back to the line. After communion the little girl quickly figures out by watchingthe deacon that the lids needto go back on the 8 chalice so she takes over putting on the lids and then begins instructing the other boys how to clean and clear the alter. They them all begin to help. She was a take charge little girl. The Irish priest was quite aware of all the goings on. I'm certain he enjoyed it. Truly a great sermon... I have never had the experience in a Church with so much to be thankful for. I have moved 14 times and as a result attended many wonderful masses. Fr. Chris is a blessing and my daughters and whole family enjoyed Fr. Nick's masses as well for years. My daughter attended Notre Dame Academy and Fr. Nick oversaw the masses with the children. My older children would come to mass soley to see Fr. Nick as his homilies were deeply thoguhtful, entertaining and memorable. His humor strikes a chord of humility that resonates well...

Visited this beautiful parish on the very day of the last of papal mass celebrations for our dearly departed Pope Francis.

We were greeted by the most friendly usher, not sure of his name, that honored my family [wife,son,myself] in asking us to bring the gifts to the altar for the liturgy of the Eucharist.

The father gave a beautiful Homily on the life Pope Francis. Overall it was a very welcoming experience that left a good impression on me and my family.
