Starshine Liquor Market — Local services in San Diego

I would have given a five star... but I've had a re occurring problem. so I get home from work late and this store is conveniently just a quick walk away. my issue is, on multiple occasions ive marched my way on over after a stressful day at work trying to get there before closing. politely requested and paid for marlboro red 100s exchange is made and I just trust that I'm getting exactly that, but when I'm home ready to light up I see that I was given the short ones. now I cant go back because they're closed. this is exactly the 5th time I've had this happen, convenience is the reason I go back after being on strike for a week. and give the benefit of the doubt. Neighborhood liquor/ market in an original neighborhood commercial strip. A large footprint and tall ceilings for a liquor store, feels spacious inside. Lots of parking always available, seems to be the main business open in this strip. Very close to home, been in a few times on our walks but never seem to buy anything. People running it seem nice.

They stock the basics, nothing fancy here. For some reason it reminds me of the type of liquor/ market essentials you would find when you go camping if that makes sense. No frills. Not really the kind of place you'd do your grocery shopping at.

I asked for Rose’s Lime Juice but two guys said they didn’t have it. I got in my car and the one guy came to the parking lot to say that they looked it up and they have something similar. I was so pleased that they sought me out. Now that’s customer service. They showed me a very suitable alternative and I bought it. I just cannot believe how nice these guys are.
