The location is beautiful and just what I was looking for to have my wedding. In the many years of planning my wedding as a teenager, I did not find this place until an adult and it was truly a dream come true... As I looked the grounds over, I imagined just what I could do and I was so excited that I put the deposit down as soon as I had the money for it.
Less than a month after I placed the deposit down, some extrenuating circumstances took place in our family that cut our budget and we were forced to resort to much smaller, backyard wedding. I made the call to the owner, explained my situation more in detail. He apologized but said that the contract did state that the deposit was nonrefundable, which it clearly did not. Those words out of his mouth was the first time I had heard them.
Now I understand this is business, but I expected a little bit more heart given the circumstances and given the fact that the location was booked for less than a month. I couldn't call a week earlier being that the farm was closed for a week. Those $150, while they may not seem like much to the average wedding business... It could have done a lot for us.
Thank you for your gernerosity and kindness as I was willing to pay you and compliment your venue at every chance I got. I only hoped that that kindness would have extended as far as real, life altering circumstances that we had no control over.
Thanks for your business, as that is all it was....
Read moreMy mother, my daughter and I went here on a calm Monday and it was such a lovely time! 🙏🏼 The owners had such gentle energy and Norma was the one who helped us, was such a beautiful soul.💜 I left with so many goodies!!! And I HAD to try the last slice of the “Ramirez carrot cake” they had and wow.. it was the best carrot cake I have ever tried!! 🥕 I also got their “sweet and spicy” pecans and 🤤 Sooo tasty!!! “Norma’s Wedding Cookies” are better than any wedding cookie you’ve ever tried. I promise! Also got my hands on some local goodies they had! A delicious “salsa de chile de arbol”, local honey 🍯, and a “desert wildflower” handmade beeswax soap! 😄 We also left with 6 gorgeous pumpkins for such a good price compared to big companies! And so much prettier too. 🎃 One of my favorite parts was seeing their beautiful horses up close. I even got to pet one and instantly fell in love. ❤️ All in all, AMAZING experience and I will definitely be back with my little family! 😄 Thank you!

Read moreThis place is so family friendly and the events they host are thoughtful and fun. We recently went for their Pecan Festival and it was great! We had the experience of watching a tractor shake out the pecans from the tree. The other enjoyable part was the BBQ they had, everything on the plate was delicious. We also have tried their biscotti cookies and they are good. However, I do suggest they hire or talk to the people offering pony rides. We saw on their Instagram page that pony rides were free at other events so we assumed they would be here too. We didn't get charge until after riding and it was $9 for a 3 min ride. That is really expensive and awful communication, it was worth $3, or even $5 if they really need it. I do suggest to visit regardless but dont expect their vendors to be as...
