Apex Stone is one of a kind! We had the pleasure of visiting their facilities while looking for stone material for a project in Houston. We were immediately greeted by one of their staff members in the yard, who welcomed us and asked if he could be of any help. We then went to the office to request information about some material and everyone was so courteous. They were very busy, yet everyone had the time to greet us. The director of sales, Mrs. Stephanie Jackson offered us to give us a tour and WOW! This company is a hidden gem, their facility is fantastic, they have a big operation going on, heavy machinery cutting, polishing, modifying stones, boulders, etc. They can do what most of the local hardscape stores cannot. Mrs. Stephanie Jackson walked with us, showing us their busy, yet smooth operation, proceeded to show us their ability to find or make what we need for any project. She is very, very knowledgeable. We briefly discussed one of our custom projects with her and her analysis of what could or could not work not was instant! We enjoy working with individuals that have passion for what they do. APEX is not a good neighbor...I will not use them again!!! If you buy anything from Apex....Buyer Beware..it is Not returnable, Not even exchangeable. So, I'm just a local homeowner right down the road from this pillar of our community...Im a 62 yr old lady who don't have a clue, I go and walk around in 100 degree heat with an umbrella and pick out a half a pallet of stone for addition to my front garden...saved up and spent half a weeks salary on rock...it ended up clashing so badly with my existing rock that I restacked the entire 1200 lbs of stone back on the pallet on my trailer and wrapped it securely with chicken wire so I could go exchange it for more appropriate stone. The owner, who was sitting right there in his office...didn't even have the respect to come out and talk to me.....All I wanted to do was bring them back a neatly stacked pallet, and get another one that worked better...Now, you would think since you can take pretty much anything back to our local lumber yards that APEX would give you that same courtesy..NO WAY.. APEX is a prime example of a company that's willing to take your money but has no interest in your satisfaction...unless your one of the big guys that brings...

I work for a builder, and I had a client drive by Apex one day and stop to walk around their yard. My client called and told me I had to visit, so I made the hour long drive to Sealy to have a look and I was pleasantly surprised. There aren't very many stone yards that go to the trouble to install the stone in such a way that you get a real feeling for the final install. Apex has a beautiful yard that goes past sample walls which really helps people who need help visualizing their final look. They did take a little while to come out and check on us, but nothing outrageous, and they were very helpful in explaining the varieties and options on the stone. They also provided us with addresses of homes or companies that had used the particular variety of stone my clients were interested in so that we could go and see the product installed.
