Gary Softball Complex — Local services in San Marcos

Great solutions and opportunities for young folks to get high school degree and learn an apprentice trade. Gives them living arrangements, good, & best of all the tools to start a career with a leg up. My daughter could not stay on track at local school district and even tried k-12 connections academy. It was an online school. The Gary Job Corps has been the right place for her to make friends and dedicate her time on school work. She's enjoying it and able to come home on weekends. The place is in San Marcos so they are a fair distant from home. Tried to have a nice family night watching my wife play softball, but I got kicked out because they "don't allow dogs". See posted here a picture of the sign with the rules, which is posted at the entrance. Note rule 6, all animals must be restrained. Our dog is better behaved than most of the children here, and sadly, some of the adults. I've never been to an outdoor park that didn't allow dogs, and I've been playing all my life. Dogs get the boot, but people getting into fights over rec games, or out of control children can stay. This was my first and last time...
