Dollar General — Local services in San Ysidro

Yes, it's a Dollar General. But, unlike most of the others I've shopped, this particular store has a secret. The secret is the employees take pride in their shop and in serving their customers. It's typically tidy and well stocked. I'm always greeted either by voice, or if they're busy, a wave. They do a great job of stocking what one might need in this rural area. If you're a "local" it's great not to always have to drive 20+ miles for a gallon of milk. This store proves you can be a discount store chain and still deliver high end service. Love the store it's right on the corner of 550 and Hwy 4 my last stop before heading into my Jemez Springs home and they are a haven for grocery needs.

Gallons of milk for $1.75 you can beat that price with a stick. Easy to navigate layout of the store and their website makes it easy to shop ahead. If you have a sweet tooth their is a sugar lovers section that should satisfy, I get down on some Life Savers Gummies the Collisions!

What I'm saying is if you live anywhere around there, Jemez or San Ysidro heck even Cuba or the Zia Pueblo, do your shopping at Dollar General fair prices and a surprisingly well...

Very friendly and helpful staff, although the prices on some things are a bit to high priced just my opinion, I don't think it should be called Dollar General, instead, again just my opinion, I think it should be called, Steal Your Last dollar 💸. and our Governmen has gave us all in our country a Cost of living raise, but a lot of people have been suffering because they have raised prices on just about everything across the board and they are so much higher percentage wise than the COLR, so the average middle class are actually losing money, and they pat themselves on the back like they have helped us....
