Stopped into the showroom in Jordan last week. I was planning to buy an entire patio set. I looked at one of the state fair discounts I had driven over an hour to see. It had been sold the day before. Of course that is not their problem, I should have called again that morning. The receptionist came to talk to me about it and said it was so popular the day before. (My husband had been the one calling :o) She then took two steps and asked about the one next to it, which I said was a little more than I wanted to spend. As soon as the receptionist found out that I didn't want the one right next to it (a different model) she quickly went back to the front desk. She then started talking with another employee who was making coffee and continued to do so the rest of the time I was in the store. No one bothered to qualify me or even try to help me find anything else once it was determined that piece had already sold. There were so many people working there, and only my son and I were in the store. We were there 40 minutes. We walked out after no one even bothere to talk to us again. Remember, we were the only ones in the store. I was so appalled by the service that I immediately sat in my car in the parking lot and did a contact us on their website. Read moreI purchased a table and two chairs almost a year ago. Orginally a couple of the pieces from the table had to be replaced since there was a manufacturing defect. The company fixed that. I live in a very hot climate (Las Vegas). Earlier this year, there was another issue with a screw failing. The company, although hesitantly, also fixed that issue. It is now the height of summer with +110 degree temps and I am now having issues with multiple screws. The product and screws seem to be migrating (heating up) causing unstability. I know the website claims this product is good in any climate but, in my experience, it hasn't done well in the hot desert sunshine and heat. I do love the look of the product though.

Read moreI have no doubt the quality of the furniture will be what I am expecting, however the experience has been less than ideal. I cannot get any information about when the furniture will be done and delivered. We ordered two gliders and one ottoman in the Jordan showroom on 4/19/21. Only after we had paid and started to talk about picking up/delivery did we find out it was a 10-12 week timeframe. Shame on us, we should have asked, however never would have anticipated that timing so early in the season. The 12 weeks have now come and gone; I've made 4 calls to By the Yard, each time only to be told that the furniture is not done, but no additional details are provided. I actually felt I was being shamed for making repeat calls to ask for status, however no proactive outreach has been provided by them, even though the delivery timeframe has passed and they've had our payment for over 3 months now.
