There were several very good vendors in the building. The market had the feel of a craft fair, less of a Farmer’s Market (We love fresh produce). The Whitaker Homestead was the reason my sister and I wanted to visit the market. The Inspired Bakehouse had some homemade blueberry jam(very good), and very good fudge cake. From the Whitaker Homestead I bought earache drops containing garlic mullein oil since I’ve had ear issues since I was a kid and wanted it as a preventative (so far so good), the sourdough bread was good and the elderberry syrup will hopefully help keep colds to a minimum. Put it on your list for a Saturday outing with some friends to try something new. I took photos after I had opened everything so they are a little messy. The elderberry jar has drips on it from use and the sourdough is half eaten. I also got a little jam on the outside of the jar, but at least you can see the products. You’ll find everything from homemade soaps, candles, and sourdough bread from the Whitakers homestead, to Yo’ Creation’s amazing food, fresh produce, local beef, and the Jerky Man’s snacks, plus so many other talented small businesses.
