The Sandown Historic Museum And Depot is a captivating step into the past. Nestled in a beautifully preserved depot, it offers a window into the region's rich history. The exhibits are thoughtfully arranged, covering everything from the early settlers' lifestyles to the industrial evolution. The knowledgeable staff enhances the experience with fascinating stories and insights. The museum's outdoor spaces are a serene complement, ideal for a leisurely walk or quiet contemplation. Whether you're a history enthusiast or just looking for a charming outing, this museum provides an enlightening and memorable journey into Sandown's heritage.

I noticed this train 🚂🚃 station 🚉 by chance. I've been facinated with trains since I was a kid so I stopped by to take a look. The Depot is only open May to December. I peeked through the windows and noticed a gift shop and the museum displays. Christmas lights are up during the holiday season. I will visit again when they reopen.

Wish it was open to the public, I was only able to look in the windows. But my son liked looking at the train cars.

Go here regularly to walk rail trail with a man with disabilities. Rail trail is well kept. The train station itself for the 7yrs I've frequented the area for the rail trail I've only seen it opened once and was very surprised. Literally have no idea when they actually do things. I use this mostly as a parking lot for walks with clients. 3 stars rating on cleanliness of...
