Our 3 year journey with Base Camp Design recently came to an end as we completed an addition as well as a full remodel of our dream home. In hindsight, my husband and I had no idea just how big of an undertaking we were about to dive into, and I am ever so thankful that we hired BCD. I can’t say enough about Kate and her design team. Kate helped guide us through a major build on Lake Pend Oreille. She took into consideration our aesthetic and helped us choose materials and furnishings that completed our vision, a tough assignment given the disparity between my taste and my husband’s. When we had difficulty finding furnishings, she worked with us and local artisans to create custom furnishings for our home. As with any build, we had some design obstacles, but Kate helped alleviate the issues in beautiful, creative ways and helped “talk us off the ledge” a few times .
