Marquette County Fairgrounds — Local services in Sands Township

I was there with my 2 grandsons Friday early afternoon. I was solely disappointed. It was set out poorly, only a couple game booths which were triple expensive, venders for food were slow many working alone, wanted cotton candy didn't get because only one vendor had some and she never had any made and I went back 3 times.i remember it being much better previous times I wont ever be...

Just sad. Spent every summer in the UP as a kid. Going to the county fair was always a highlight. Stopped in this year because I was visiting again. What a difference and a huge disappointment. No rides for the kids, no games to play, just so much less in general. Maybe this is the norm now… so glad I have the great memories as a child… because it’s not an event I’d want to...

This was our first year to attend the Marquette County Fair. There were a lot of food vendors with typical fair food and was pleasantly surprised to find healthier options as well.
