Let me start by saying, I don't write reviews... makes my thumbs hurt and most are extremely biased based on a specific experience... take what I say with a grain of salt, but my experience with the garage dude was the single greatest service experience I've had over the past few years... hyperbole aside, the garage dude was professional, timely and communicative... his pricing was fair, and the final product was better than described... he arrived on time, took very limited breaks and was done almost an hour earlier than estimated... I went with the race deck tile flooring system that was chosen over epoxy flooring due to the floating floor nature of the product and the versatility to adjust design/sit atop the garage floor instead of being prone to cracks as my new construction concrete garage floor settles... the system interlocks with other tiles, but does require cutting near the edges to make it fit the space...
The garage dude came to the house to show samples of the product, take measurements and discuss design aesthetic... after meeting for about 30mins, he followed up with a drawing of the design that I was asked to approve prior to the work beginning... he was back at the house within 2 weeks to begin the 6-hour project and completed it with time to spare... cost was very reasonable and he even checked in a few days later to see if there were any issues... he even returned about a week later to adjust the parking pads I asked be installed as the distance to the garage wall was a bit close...
Final product looks awesome and it helps the lady of the house avoid smacking into the garage wall when parking... that said, the best part in the whole process was the garage dude himself... His will be the first number I dial when I'm ready to install a garage storage solution... I have zero qualms employing the garage dude for all my future garage storage/design needs...
Now, if only he did...
Read moreIf you dread pulling into your garage everyday from work or leaving the house (assuming you can pull into your garage), then you should call Scott at the Garage Dude.
The garage has always been my husbands territory/ responsibility and while he sincerely tried, it was difficult to organize and became hard to even walk into the garage. Kids toys were everywhere, workout equipment lined the walls, and yard gear took up precious space. It was stressful to return home from work into such a messy arrival space. My children never knew where to put their outdoor toys when they were finished playing because there was not an organizational system in place. It truly became a daring act to get in and out of my car inside the garage.
I finally called Scott and I am so glad I did. He responded promptly, he quickly assessed the situation, and he immediately provided a plan to resolve our organizational issues. Within a week, he arrived to install our new garage system. I was working from home due to COVID and homeschooling both children. I was truly stretched thin and was not present to help Scott when he arrived. BUT, Scott was so professional, didn't even need my help, and emptied out our garage on his own. Within hours, he installed an entire new garage organizational system and reorganized my garage. Not only was it a stress free process, his price was very reasonable (and beat other vendors who we called).
I cannot say enough great things about Scott at the Garage Dude! My husband, an initial skeptic, is in love with our new garage and his newly organized lawn equipment section. This makes the perfect birthday gift, father's or mother's day gift, or otherwise spring cleaning to do! CALL SCOTT @ the GARAGE...
Read moreI first met Scott (“The Garage Dude”) when I wanted to organize my garage. I’d seen one of his signs near my neighborhood and cold called, so I had no idea what to anticipate. Now, a few years later, I’ve lost count of the number of home projects we’ve worked on together.
I think so highly of Scott as both a professional and a person that it’s hard to find words to do it justice. He met me at a time when my child had just been diagnosed with Autism and I was trying to learn how to keep bulky occupational therapy equipment at home, and struggling to stay organized as a working mom with a young child. Later, when I downsized into a new home, Scott took on the challenge of optimizing the space and exceeded all expectations with the storage he added in our closets, the TV he mounted in the living room for maximum flexibility in the space, and the coat closet he optimized for multiple functions.
Scott brings a sharp mind, a meticulous eye for detail, and a good heart to every job he takes on. I’ve never had a single concern about his work - it has always been perfect (seriously, perfect!) And I’m so happy and comfortable working with him that he feels like family. Most importantly, Scott finds every opportunity to leave a space better than he found it, and he understands the responsibility that accompanies working with you on your home. He is friendly, engaged, proactive, and ready to problem-solve.
I can’t recommend Scott highly enough. You’ll be very glad that...
