Malco's Buxton Meats — Local services in Sandy

I was billed for "hanging weight" that included head, hoof, and skin (this is actually "hot-weight" and is heavier than a hanging weight .... this means more money for them- they bill on a higher weight). The cut instruction process was arduous for each of my customers and two of my customers instructions were "misplaced" and required being resent. Three of the specified cut instructions were not followed and product that was charged for and paid for was not present- mine included. I wanted the skin, leaf lard, and sausage links. I did not receive skin or lard and the sausage I did get was packaged with a "linked sausage" label, but was ground bulk. One of my customers ordered the head (per the cut instruction sheet) were billed for it, but did not receive it. Worst of all- the cured and smoked product was disappointing in the extreme. I have never experienced such poor service, product, or accuracy ever. I spoke directly with the owners and was left with only excuses and lies. Please actively boycott this business. They are not anyone you should use. I will never consider them again. If I could give zero...

This is our second experience with Buxton and we are and have been very happy with the quality of the meat cutting, etc. The first time, the customer service was not great and gave them a pass- we all have hard days. But second experience confirms that they are kinda crabby, a bit irritated and customer service is not their strong suit. It’s disappointing as we are sharing meat with friends and family and this greatly impacts the whole experience for all. We may choose to look for...

The quality is outstanding and the service is excellent! We are extremely satisfied and thankful for them. We just got our 2nd whole beef from them. When I contacted Matthew I was expecting to have to wait but he knew exactly what I wanted and we picked up the cut and wrapped product with a very short wait. We will probably be looking to buy a whole pig form them soon and look forward to continuing to do...
