The Run off stream from Mt.Hood is very loud and swift and unpredictable and very cold due to being melted snow. Night time is see your breath cold. It's so dark that you cant see anything unless its a cloudless and moon lit night. The river stream has a way of taking ones Dog and making it disappear without a trace or an coyote or cougar took my dog one's Been sighted up there. It's a come and enjoy the roughness and beauty for a day...
