This place is more than an amazing craft school, it is always an experience. I always look forward to teaching and participating here. It's hard to believe I've been teaching here for a decade now. Time flies when you are having fun. The students who attend classes here also find their time rewarding. There are so many great classes available here. Peters Valley is also a supportive and inclusive creative community unlike any other. It's a place where students, teachers, and staff come together for the love of creativity. Staying on campus is very rewarding. The school is set in and old farming village surrounded by protected forest. Mealtime here is special and a good time to connect with other students, teachers, and staff. You'll probably leave not just with a new skill, but having made new friends too.

If you're looking for a creative space to inspire your next product, craft, ideas or pitch, this place has an eclectic and high-quality collection of artists and their creations to engage even the most stuck creative...and help inspire you to be more creative with things around the house! Nestled in the valley just southeast of Dingmans Falls, this place has a school, gallery and shop to help you take your creativity and craft to the next level. And I loved the banner out front: When you support a local independent artist, "you are buying that artist more time to do something they are truly passionate about;...something that puts the life into the living."

I recently went to a weekend basketry class at Peters Valley and opted to stay on campus. It was one of the most rewarding weekends I've had in a very long time. The buildings are historic, and therefore not completely modernized, but the facilities were immaculately neat and clean. The convenience and price cannot be beat. The staff were knowledgeable and helpful, as well as the other students I met who had attended previous classes. I am completely hooked and my only issue is deciding which classes I'll attend in the future. Pictured: the finished products of my class, the front of the building I stayed in.
