Johnson Family Produce and General Store — Local services in Sanford

Choose this little produce place for a Saturday morning drive based on the reviews. Drove an hour and 20 min from the south end of High Point. It was so worth it. The reviewers who said the people were friendly were correct. They had a crovk pot of beans and offered my husband and i a sample. She ever gave me instructions on how to fix them and i cant wait. Bought all kinds of fresh produce, sour dough bread. Mini coconut custard and pecan pies. So very glad we made the trip. Wish i could share a pic of all the goodies...

Family owned general store off the beaten path. Great place to find fresh produce and authentic NC foods like hoop cheese, country ham, Carolina Brightleaf hotdogs, and pimento cheese. Offers glass bottled drinks, farm fresh milk, homemade sour dough bread and fresh eggs. Lots of other goodies too. Definitely a place...

And old country store that makes you feel like you stepped into the past with locally grown produce, meats, canned goods and baked goods. An excellent staff that is knowledgeable and really enjoys their jobs. At least a bimonthly stop for us to stock up for the coming weeks. I would recommend you...
