Meriwether Farms & Citrus Groves (NOTUPICK) — Local services in Sanford

We stopped in here on our search to find some fresh Florida oranges while in town, which was surprising harder than we would’ve thought. They offer various quantity options such as a 5 gallon bucket, a bushel, etc. but we were also delighted to find that you can just purchase a couple oranges if you want. The pricing also seemed very fair at 2 oranges for $1. We were able to talk to the owner when we stopped in, she was very nice and gave us some information about the orange varieties available and encouraged us to sample the oranges for free if we’d like before purchasing. We got some of the Navel Oranges and Pineapple Juice Oranges (which have nothing to do with Pineapple by the way!), both were sweet, juicy, and delicious! I got a good amount of oranges at an excellent price! Not only is the produce grown locally, but Oliver and his sons are nice, well informed and actually care about the land.
