BODEGA Southwest Furniture — Local services in Santa Clara

Jackie, the owner was very dishonest and deceiving. She took my 17 year old bedroom set with copper tops nightstands from the her Red Cliff consignment store in St George, Ut and told me she sold them and paid me pennies on the dollar and instead she took them to her store in Santa Clara and marked them at full retail price. One nightstand, she paid me $147.00 then has them marked at $1725.00 at the Bodega. She is selling used furniture to customers like they are brand new. I wish she would have been honest instead lying to me. She also shortchanged me as per contract $100. I ask her why she took my furniture to her other store, she said, well you didn’t want it. This store was a wonderful find for my husband and me. Lee and Jackie are the owners and they bent over backwards to make our new home a showcase. We purchased a beautiful copper top table with 6 stunning leather and wood chairs. Not only did they deliver them, they set them up for us as well. We keep going back to purchase additional items for our new home! We just purchased the metal Agave and what an enhancement it made in our yard. She has the best prices in St. George! You will not be disappointed in the beautiful furniture, pots, metal...

We stopped at this fun looking shop while on our vacation. The cashier informed us for any purchase using a card instead of cash or check, there would be a 3.5 charge. Did not matter that we were using a debit card ( which is a check). So after we left the store we looked at our receipt. The charge was added to the backside of the purchase. So we were told that our total was $162.00, but then there was a second receipt for 167.00. This seems very not good business practice to me. Will not be recommending or shopping at this...
