Sanchez Produce — Local services in Santa Clarita

We were really excited to go to Sanchez produce last Saturday. The pictures of all the flowers and produce on their website looked amazing. Well, it was awful. First, there are no flowers. They have a lot of firewood and a little bit of produce. Most of the produce is from the stores because they have the same stickers on them. No homegrown produce would ever have stickers on them. The strawberries looked good, but were just average tasting. The prices were very high. The one good item was a fresh papaya. It was very good tasting. My wife asked her in Spanish the difference between two different peppers she was selling. Her response was I don’t know, you should buy both. Wow! What a scammer. The lady running the place was nice at first, until I handed her a $100 bill. She acted like she hit the jackpot with us. She refused to give us our change until we looked around more and told us to buy more. It wasn’t because she didn’t have change, in fact she already had my change of $83 in her hand, she was just trying to take advantage of us so we would buy more since she thought we had money. It got really ugly when I finally had to demand my change and her reply was that she told me my wife was still looking around. She was doing everything she could to not give me my change. What a disgusting person she turned out to be. Lastly, she was filthy dirty and her hands were black with dirt and grease. These are the same hands that she was using to handle all of the strawberries filling the containers as well as she handled all the produce and of course the cash. Even my wife said how filthy she was and the first thing we did after we left was to wash everything really thoroughly. I hate writing bad reviews and we really came there with big smiles on our faces wanting to buy a bunch of stuff. What a...

Firewood service that is beyond outstanding. I remembered late in the day that I needed a half-cord of firewood before the following morning. I called Jesus and he was able to deliver the wood within two hours, which frankly, saved my butt. The wood is either soft, hard or a combination of the two. Its perfectly cut for my small fireplace, but large enough to easily use in my outdoor fire pit. I will definitely be purchasing wood from Sanchez Produce and Firewood...

We absolutely love coming here and picking up produce. They always have a good verity to choose from. If you need peppers, they got them. You need some pumpkins in the fall... They have them! After you looking for wood to burn for camping or your fire pit at home... They have it. The best thing about the stand, is the wonderful family that owns this stand.
