Bonny Doon Beach — Local services in Santa Cruz

Off the beaten path, this place is worth the extra drive to get there if you're looking for a beach that's not as busy as the beaches closer to Santa Cruz. There are paved parking spots rather than a dirt turnout or a narrow shoulder off the side of the road to park on. There are some neat rock formations and the beach is closed in by cliffs on both sides. There is somewhat of a steep descent to access the beach and therefore a climb to get out. But unless you have a broken leg or issues walking, it's pretty simple to get down...

Gorgeous beach! Kinda hard to get to beach with a huge sand dune that gives you the main access to the beach. There's a little creek/brook running through the back of the beach, but after you pass the huge sand dune, you get to cross the brook. I've heard there might be s came to the north, but not sure. We didn't explore as much as we wanted, since we were short on time. A very scenic nude beach that I want to visit...

Honestly lovely beach, been there twice, and last time I was there some creepy dude started coming near me and friends and started touching himself and playing with himself whilst looking at me. And was altogether a very disturbing experience and I will never go back, would keep family and children AWAY!
