The Secret Spot — Local services in Santee

Store was Easy to find the worker was nice but the owner apparently doesent know what he believes is appropriate when it comes to customers checking out products. None of their products were heat sealed taped or even stapled shut. We asked what their rules were because obviously it's not ok to touch toys bare handed unless you've baught it. They provided us with latex gloves and we proceeded to open up the ones that wouldn't require doing damage to open. After making sure the glass wasn't chipped or harmful in any way on 4 toys and after making sure a wand had the power it claimed to (it didnt) using our latex glove covered hands ONLY we were ready to drop hundreds of dollars in this store. The polite worker came in and informed us that the owner had been watching the surveillance video. He apparently said it wasn't cool that we were opening and looking at the things we intended to buy. I felt offended because it seemed like he took a look at us and assumed we couldn't purchase the products. They didn't have a great selection their adult section wasn't even as large as my bedroom. Im nobody special but i don't recommend this store now that I realize nothing was sealed I'm happy we didn't buy anything from them.
