Valley Foods IGA — Local services in Saratoga

I don’t mind the high prices too much but the fact we’re paying that high price and the produce is expired is ridiculous. The past few times I’ve been there they had a bunch of stuff on the shelf that expires the next day. And a lot of stuff that was already expired. Disgusting to charge those high prices when they can’t even fix their shelves!!! Bread, eggs, milk, veggies, fruit, cheese, all expired. FIX YOUR STORE!! Stop being lazy and getting drunk at the liquor store! So tired of going in there while management is sitting in back and getting drunk instead of fixing the shelves. Whoever runs it obviously can’t run it. Please step down and let someone who actually cares...

I am so grateful for this store - on a solo road trip up from Colorado on an early weekend morning, I couldn't find a place that was open and/or felt safe enough to stop at for many miles. The terrain was pretty wide open so stopping on the side of the road to relieve myself was not appealing either, but I was on the verge of doing so when I got to the town of Saratoga. This store had a bathroom well marked in the back of the store that saved my bacon, and then I stocked up on several great snack items and refilled my cooler with ice. Super nice vibes in the place too. Thank you...

It is a decent grocery store with very pleasant staff. The prices are high compared to the average town and selection is limited but you will not starve. Also, you can usually find a one or two good deals for quick sale clearance. It would be a long drive to visit a store where groceries are cheaper so just bite the bullet and support the local grocer. Didn't have any frozen pork sausage.

Also, they only had eggs in styrofoam, which I won't buy. I'd be willing to keep paying more if the products where...
