This place is 100% worth a visit! Ignore the poor reviews that are outdated! The current owner was such a joy to chat with. Extremely friendly and helpful. Coffee options in the morning were good and we're glad we went back the next morning to get it. They have a small selection of basic groceries, lots of local beer, and a ton of cute souvenirs, t shirts, kids items, and local artisan goods (pottery, knit goods, etc). LOVE LOVE...

We love Sweetfern!! It's more than just a store.Great supply of food, all kinds of meat, specialty beer liquors, snacks Many Michigan products. Ice Cream, baked goods on Fridays. A beautiful selection of handcrafted items. A must stop while...
