Millen RV park is a tranquil place to stay. We stayed in a 45' 5th wheel for a month. The roads leading in are big-rig friendly. Please note many beautiful trees throughout the park, so navigate accordingly. Big rigs arriving from route 25 should turn on Alabama Avenue and right onto South Gray street, as the campground is on an angled road. A few spots can accommodate big rigs, but this park is older, so some sites have limited length. However, all spots have plenty of room side to side. There is a mix of back-in and a few pull-through sites. Almost all sites are very level and have many shade trees. The water pressure was good, and the quality was excellent. They do not have any restrooms, laundry areas, or a fenced-in dog park. However, they have plenty of places to walk your four-legged friends. We had the privilege of meeting the owner, Patty. She is a fantastic lady who immediately made us feel like family. There are a few restaurants and a small grocery store within 1 mile of the RV park. This location has good cell service. We used an amplified antenna, and the following speeds were observed. AT&T 20 Mbps down, 10 Mbps up. T-Mobile was 5 Mbps down, 3 Mbps up, and Verizon was 8 Mbps down and 3 Mbps up.    Read moreKindness and integrity mean a lot to me. That being said, this park is ran fairly with both aforementioned qualities in mind. Miss Patti cares about her property, her tenants, and running a great campground.
Millen RV Park is an easily accessible country RV park 1 hour south of Augusta and 30 minutes north of Statesboro. Most tenants are here traveling for work or some are just passing through for hunting or boating trips. The grounds are routinely maintained and the picturesque oak trees make for a great park like setting. The park is perfect for the workers, families, and pets too! There aren’t amenities like a bath or laundry house but there is a beautiful community fire pit with Adirondack chairs and firewood continuously provided.
Millen itself houses a nicely ran basic 24 hour gym, grocery store, two dollar stores, barbershops, salons, a post office, pharmacies, places of worship, a Huddle House, Dairy Queen, McDonald’s, Popeye’s, Cafe on Cotton, Rounds Restaurant, a nice family run feed store, etc. There is also a beautiful state park, Magnolia Springs, with many hiking trails and things to do.
Thank you so much for running such a warm and welcoming campground! We...
Read moreWe sold our house and moved here to Millen RV Park Campground while waiting for our next adventure. We have been here for aprox one year! Pattie manages this place and is absolutely wonderful day in and day out! She keeps the campground tidy and is very friendly and helpful. Here with two kids, never a safety problem. This place is located right outside of town, hidden in the woods. Located next to Recreation department. Has playground, track, basketball and tennis court. In town, I suggest Downtown Cafe and Rounds Seafood for lunch and dinner. Cute boutiques in town for coffee and clothing. Multiple Churches that are inviting. River boatramp is just down the road. Very convenient place. Grocery and dollar stores are just minutes away. Magnolia Springs State Park is on opposite side of town , great escape. Millen coin laundry is in town its convenient. Cost of electric and rental wont hurt your pocket! You won't be disappointed if you make this home, a pit stop for hunting or exploring, location to stay for work or a temporary home...
