The staff is what makes the experience! 🫶 Depending on what you’re used to, Stoer’s may seem on the smaller side of farm markets. But it's the people who work here that make you glad you stopped by. I didn’t catch her name, but the woman working at the market definitely made the visit worthwhile. Hearing about the husband-and-wife team who own the farm, how the honey products are produced, and learning more about the market’s story all contributed to a better experience.
Something to note: Stoer’s ends their market season on October 31st. However, they have a cooler out front with items like creamed honey and other products of the sorts. There’s also a drop-off box for payment. After October 31st, you can simply call (614) 419-2952 to place your order. We picked up a Bartlett pear and Vanilla Cinnamon creamed honey—the pear was just as delicious as I was told it would be. I can’t wait to try the vanilla cinnamon creamed honey in iced coffee; I might heat it up a little in the microwave first. If you haven’t tried creamed honey before, there are samples to go around!
This is a farm market I’ll definitely be returning to. I only wish I had visited earlier...
