Climbed Fool Creek Peak in 1963 with Leamington Boy Scouts. On the very top was millions and millions of ladybird beetles (2-3 acres) - always pondered how they navigated the winds to have this convention at the very peak - they seemed to feed on the lichen on the rocks. Certainly they could not survive a winter on such a peak. Sort of amazing.... To the west stretch row after row of dry basin and range peaks, while to the east and south central Utah's high plateaus and peaks can be seen. The view northwestward is dominated by Mount Nebo, high point of the Wasatch Range.
