Rock 'N' Roll Drive-In — Local services in Scott City

My husband and I went down to the drive in and tried to have a date night.. we got our food before the movie started.. but you'd think that someone would've made sure before intermission that the toilet paper would be full in all the stalls 🙄 and that on the 2nd movie which was Patrick Swayze movie dirty dancing, that people would be able to come in the exit for one thing.. they're in a truck and people cleared out after the 1st movie cause it was getting late etc.. but this truck picked right in front of us and had these bright lights on the back of the truck cab and just sat there like that and people from 7 parking spots away were running back and forth to this truck lighting everything up and I couldn't watch the movie with lights in our face 😢 we tried 😊 our lights but nothing changed.. I walked up and asked nicely about the lights and she yes she'd take care of it.. lights were still on then I thought they left and they came back and parked down by the people they were there to see but they just parked in the middle of the isle.. I think they need to do something about that if I'm gonna spend my money down there I should be able to enjoy both movies, just say'n 😊 Oh and the vendor that had the pulled pork sandwiches was awesome but the smoked beans should say that they're spicy.. lol.. but other than the truck that got in the exit and ruined almost half of my movie we had a...

My sister, niece, and I went Friday night to see Haunted Mansion and Indiana Jones' Dial of Destiny. The films were both great, and it was only $30 for a carload. There were food trucks there and a contest to take and post a selfie for a chance to win Guns & Roses concert tickets. The drive-in plays awesome R&R over their designated radio station. I can't believe a neat little place like this exists so close to home. The funny thing is, not all of the locals know of it's existence... just ask the Jackson police officer who pulled us over at 1:20am! ... Another story for a different kind of review. It’s a nice concept! Movie is clear and sounds are great. Staff are respectful & helpful. There’s plenty of food options when we came. Why I am giving 3 stars is their entrance and exit took forever… literally FOREVER, we were in a long line along the highway for a good while before we got in. Movie started 45 mins after the scheduled time of showing (so for an idea entry time is 7pm and movie didnt start til 9:15pm). So if y’all are going esp on a weekend bring tons of patience.
