Dollar General — Local services in Scott Township

I get a very strange feeling every time I go into this place. It's like I am not treated like a normal person. There is one employee that is fearful of me and for some reason will always get someone else to check me out so they don't have to have contact with me. There is no response from even a friendly hello, It's very strange. If I was a leper in the biblical times I might understand but that is no way to treat someone in today's world. If it wasn't for the expense I would drive to Rochelle to buy my water. Has social media so destroyed the human connection that we can't have, what used to be, normal conversations without this? I pray for this young person, there has to be some cause for this effect. Last night when I went in there I was informed that I couldn't have my backpack purse with me and that I had to leave it at the front with them. That's fine and I complied with it.
