Open April to November, the Section Farm Market offers fresh fruits and vegetables grown by a community of Mennonite families working together as a co-op. Open since April 2022, their goal is to provide fresh, home-grown produce while supporting their families. They use sustainable farming practices and avoid genetically modified crops.
The market features over 30 different crops, with a pamphlet available detailing the harvest times. Jams and jellies are made from local fruits without artificial additives, and honey is sold raw from June to autumn. September is sorghum harvest time, producing pure sorghum molasses.
Baked goods, including zucchini and jalapeno bread, are made in a wood-fired oven without preservatives. Canned goods and homemade lye soap are also available.
