AHAM Meditation and Retreat Center in Asheboro, NC is one of my favorite local retreat centers. I find peace upon every visit.

They have a variety of options for your stay, including a bungalow, a cottage, and a bunk house.

Serenity Cottage is a 3-bed home with a refrigerator, stove and oven. It has everything you need to cook your own meals. From the sliding glass doors you can almost view Falling Tree Trail, one of the 5+ trails to you during your stay.

This is my third time staying at the Association of Happiness for All Mankind's U.S. retreat center. They also have another property in India.

If you are looking for a peaceful retreat that's close to home, I would highly recommend the AHAM Meditation and Retreat Center...
