Haunted Hollow NC — Local services in Seagrove

We're giving this haunt a 3 star and here's why.

The drive out to Haunted Hollow was great, it's way back in the middle of no where, and it makes you question where you're really going.

It's ran by some very nice people, who are obviously trying to make this haunt into something bigger, such as spookywoods and WOT. So in that aspect I'd give them a 5 star.

Looking back into the previous year, the price was $10 and this year it is $20 a person. This is where I had to drop the rating. I do understand $20 sounds better than $10 a person, but let's remember what we are trying to build here. Empires aren't built over night, and Google reviews are worth more right now than making double the money with no repeat customers. So keeping that price at $10 would of been a better long term win than to up the price currently.

The barn itself, and the confusion with direction and the actors were great, I'd give it a 5 star there.

I assume you guys sit on quite a bit of land as well, so extending this haunt needs to happen sooner than later. Even if it means we walk through the woods with no actors, just walking in the woods can be quite scary.

Overall summary would be a 3 star due to the efforts and how friendly you guys were. The length is what killed it for me, and I'm sure others. In comparison, the money per time of this attraction vs. the big named haunts, the big names are currently the better bargin. Again, have to start some where, but I don't believe raising the price this year was the answer, because you'll just get reviews as such. Reviews are everything in this business, and if two bad reviews turn away 10 guest, then that could be $100 you're missing out on.

Contacted this place on messenger to ask if they had strobe lights. Some actually don't. I asked because my mom has epilepsy and wanted to make sure the haunt was ok for her or not or very little strobe lights. I gave them days to reach back to me.
