Sea-Tac Community Center — Local services in SeaTac

Good place to go if you need a place to shower, hang out, use WiFi or use the bathroom, or to just be warm in the winter or cool down in the summer. Nice little playground for the younger kids, and a skate park and basketball hoop for the older ones as well. For the most part all the staff here are super friendly and helpful. On the senior community bulletin board, I offered to pay someone for a ride back home from Swedish Hospital to SeaTac. (Price was not mentioned.)

After 7-8 days, I thought it was odd that I had not received any replies. Less than two weeks later, I stopped by to remove my post and discovered it no longer was on the board. After inquiring, I was told a staff member decided to remove it on the second Friday that I had posted it. WHY? No acceptable answer was given.

Why offer this service if we can't count on the messages being seen and read by those who frequent...

It's a very nice place. My coworker had his son's 1 yrs. old. birthday party there, the section/room of the community center that they rented has plenty of space and the tables were 6ft. circular with chairs. There was at least 10 tables at the party with room to space, along with a full working kitchen. The staffing there are friendly too.
