Douglas Mountain — Local services in Sebago

During the summer of 2020, I took up hiking. In searching for local hikes, I found Douglas Mountain. I liked that there are different trails that you can take at different skill levels. Fairly easy home. It had well marked trails. The view tower at the top have a gorgeous view of My. Washington as well as Sebago Lake. The trail was fairly well groomed, but some of the larger trees that must have fallen during the wind storm are still blocking some minor pieces of the trail. A really nice day hike. Very easy and rewarding hike. There are options for a quick walk up the mountain or other nature viewing trails up. I suggest taking a nature walk up from the parking lot, then come down the short trail to the road. Easy for young kids and old dogs.
