Green Man Curio Shop — Local services in Sebring

Owner is extremely hostile. I don't know how someone so unbalanced could even begin to pretend his products work. Perhaps he should use some of it?

Sister called him when the store was closed during business hours. He'd declared that he was only open until 2:00 p.m. on Wednesdays, but- it was Thursday. When that was pointed out, he offered to walk over and open up the store.

Her friend was at the counter ready to make the purchase, when he became angry and started screaming at my sister who was on the phone scheduling surgery -- She was at the front door of the store- clearly NOT needing his assistance.

He began screaming several "F" words at her- demanding that she make her purchase and leave. HER FRIEND WAS STANDING NEXT TO THE REGISTER READY TO BUY.

He then called my sister the C-word and demanded that she and her friend leave- you know- for attempting to make a purchase during business hours- with her friend- holding a debit card in her hand. He stated: "I hate you f*ing Sebring people." Though, his store is located in Sebring, and my sister lives in Avon Park.

Shop with caution. Something is extremely wrong...

This is a "gem" of a place!! Instant positive vibes the moment you walk in. I am a frequent flyer here and enjoy every moment! Friendly, helpful & knowledgeable staff. Floor to ceiling treasures to be found. Crystals, incense & burners, metal art, wall art, jewelry, dreamcatchers, wind chimes and many other unique gifts inside. Outside you will find an extensive inventory of Mexican pottery of large, medium & small sizes & concrete statuary for the garden. And more metal art! Beautiful selection. They have a gem mining operation as well, although I haven't experienced that part of the business yet. This is like a local theme park attraction and a great place to go on a date! It would take hours to see everything they offer! It's Christmas folks! I'm sure you can find a wonderful gift here. They accept plastic but 10% off if you pay with cash! I spent a lot of money here on a couple of necklaces. I then called back to be sure the owner would be there on the day the store was scheduled to be open again. I was then told he was not willing to leave me alone with his $2-$3 crystals because if something went missing he would not know whether it was me or not. I never went that day nor any other after that. The owner is rude and has vulgar signs posted at the register about Sebring and its residents.
