Well, on Thanksgiving this year I got myself a turkey kit from a local restaurant...I don't want to say who but let's just say it was a Market in Boston. It was the worse turkey I've ever smelled. It had already spoiled and filled my house with a nasty smell for a couple of days (it comes wrapped in a bag to cook in so it's too late when you open it).
I decided for Christmas to get the freshest turkey I could. Since this farm is only a few minutes away I gave it a shot. Boy was it good! The tenderest and juiciest turkey I've ever eaten...it was so juicy and tender that I didn't need a knife to cut it, just the side of my fork!
They include cooking paper and directions with the turkey and I followed them to the letter, and wasn't disappointed. I suggest you do the same. It only took about 3 hours to cook.
