Freeway Lanes — Local services in Selma

Did not like this place at all... Employees seemed racist and bothered that we walked into their establishment. The older lady there in charge of shoe check out was very rude and even yelled at my son when he stepped in front of another bowlers lane. They were not even bowling they were sitting there drinking. I told my son to come by me because he got sad...and to think this was his birthday outing. When we tried getting snacks and drinks from snack area we were standing there about five minutes while they helped everyone else and told us coldly we'll be with you in a minute. I will never take my family back there again not to mention the lane they have us was broken and kept getting stuck on one person's turn. Needless to say we did not feel welcomed at all...we were scheduled to be there two hours but left after a little...

Worst experience in customer service. The bartender is crazy, unprofessional and rude she cannot handle stress or a busy crowd. She needs to be fired! I rang the bell because I was waiting for 15 minutes to refill my pitcher, she looked up at me and didn’t say a word and didn’t help me. I had to send my fiancé inside to get helped. This bowling alley is run down, old and needs to be serviced, much like it’s sign! Our lane kept “glitching” or that’s what they said and every time it had to get reset, it was counting strikes when we didn’t get strikes. Horrible place to go! I would never recommend it! This place is really cool and the staff is awesome. They rent out the kitchen to a very nice lady that sells real food instead of what you usually get at a bowling alley. The few detractors that have posted here only post negative comments on places. Just click on their names. They are often kinda clever with their trolling but I assure you, this is a very good bowling alley. So good that I asked to work there and I pull a couple shifts in the bar now until the end of the busy season... had to beg but it was worth it. Such a fun place without that snobby atmosphere a lot of family...
