2018 REVIEW VS 2021 REVIEW I love going to the swap meet! The parking sucks, and sometimes the people in front of you walk to slow, but those are the only negative things I have to say about it. It's a family atmosphere, they have EVERYTHING there, and my kids have no problem finding something for themselves, LOL! I usually go there for one reason and that's for the animals that are sold there by a wonderful family who breeds, raises, and sells them to families. It's also my kids's favorite stop while at the swap meet, besides the food court, LOL! Which reminds me, they have the most wonderful food there also. From fruit w/tajin to ceviche to posole and much more! All home made of course, and perfectly paired with a jarritos makes for a great meal after a morning of shopping. 2021 review- I was happy to be back at the swap meet, honestly, it was great seeing all the vendors and deals. BUT, I would say that only 50% of the people were wearing masks and I didnt see ONE sanitizing station, ONE pack of hand wipes, or anything of the sort. I was disappointed that they're aren't more rules in place and the vendors don't have to be spread out more. I kept my mask on, and used sanitizer often. So, for the 2021 review I give it 3 stars. I have to say I was so Disappointed in there Handicapped parking situation. They moved the Handicapped people to the uneven grass dirt area and I had to help this older couple with getting them in the handicapped chair, there is no room for them to open there doors anymore. And were the handicapped parking was before in the clean smooth surface is now occupied people selling merchandise. WHATS WRONG with that picture. Why cant they switch. I went back TODAY 5/1/2022 still the same thing I got there almost at 9am with my 80 yr old mother and this time it was. Locked off and ai asked the lady why, she said until she gets the authorization its closed off and told me to.park in the uneven dirt area and parking was terrible i couldn't get her out of the car. Isn't this against the law. Who can I call about this, and yes I have pictures from.both last month and today to show proof. Inhope the owners or.who ever is in.charge of this to.fix this ASAP this is wrong in so many ways how do we expect or handicapped to access the swamp meet. Wish I would have taken pics. Most impressive thing to me is that they had cars for sale. Didn't know if it was cash only or financing. I'm a grill guy and there were a few grill items I liked. They had more than one vendor with medicinal herbs such as moringa. I was looking for cooking herbs. The other thing I was looking for was Mexican vanilla. It was probably there but I didn't see it. Plenty of veggies available. Food vendors were all over the place. I was looking for some wood work benches and didn't see them. Plenty of clothes and cowboy boots. Plenty of space, parking was $2.
