My wife and I attended the festival for the first time this past weekend. It was a grand time! The reenactors really do their homework. Each participant is an expert on the life of their character, which makes it quite fascinating to hear the details. I felt as though I was actually talking to General George Washington. I perceive a great value in that it appears to be a POWERFUL educational experience for our younger folks. May it continue and grow...

The time spent there flew by! Thomas Jefferson was there this year, spoke of liberty and George Washington spoke of slavery. I learned that we have an American Creed!

There is so much to see that $15 for the whole 3 day event is an excellent value. This is my 2nd year going...it is a tradition for me. I hope that it becomes one of yours too! Come on by...
