Great value course with pretty views. It's not particularly long, and the greens can be a little on the slow side, but the Thursday deal for 18 holes and cart for $44 can't be beat.
The biggest drawback to the entire course is the people. The bartender upstairs is the most miserable, unpleasant person you'll find in Southwestern PA. She singlehandedly took our whole trip down a star with her attitude, and we watched her kick a nice couple and their dog off the deck who just wanted to get some drinks claiming that the course was too nice and exclusive for a dog to be OUTSIDE.
The guy on the range is great.
All in all, the course is 4 stars, and the bartender at TreeTops a solid 0. Avoid her...
Read moreGreat golf experience. Seven Springs is a very challenging resort course. Great layout. Challenging. Makes you think about your game. Greens and fairways in super condition. Superintendent and his staff are constantly working to make the course playable but difficult. Rough is thick and deep. If you roll into the second cut, it takes a knowledge of you game to get out. You have to keep your ball in play to score. You can score on this course but you have to be in the fairways AND set up your second and third shots. Greens seem soft but are super fast. Staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and excellent. Pro shop well stocked. Everything about Seven Springs Golf Course is top...
Read moreI’ve played Seven Springs golf course many times through the years. It’s typically in very good condition as it should be considering the green fees are 80.00. However, we decided to take a relaxing holiday weekend and play a round there, and I was shocked how poorly it was being maintained. There are weeds everywhere for one. The fairway and greens had not been mowed for two to three days. For the roughs, with all of the weeds and the fact that they had not been mowed for a month, they were 6 to 8” deep. Pretty much unplayable and very difficult to find balls. I guess the excuse will be that the Covid-19 contributed to the negligence. In my opinion, it’s...
