If you are looking to get a gaming PC repaired, do not go here. Went through the ringer trying to get my PC repaired here. They do not have spare parts on hand to properly or quickly diagnose the problem.
Ended up basically buying a brand new computer minus the case and the graphics card. They still could not get it to work, as I mentioned before - they dont have parts on hand to test. It took them 4 days after I bought the new parts (on top of the 3 it took to diagnose the bad motherboard) and they couldnt get it to work with a new CPU, PSU, and Motherboard. I spent hundreds after being guaranteed performance if I bought new parts - later to be told that the guarantee was if I were to buy parts through them, which they would have most likely had to order since they obviously didn't have any on-hand. Weird that I would need to buy parts through them but they didnt have CPU's on hand to diagnose the actual issue that the new CPU I bought to go with the new motherboard was simply a Dead on Arrival CPU. The tech tried to tell me that the CPU I got was not compatible with the motherboard, but I put it through 2 parts pickers (I am currently writing the review on PC with said parts together).
I also went back and forth 3 times dropping off spare parts so they could test. You would think a tech repair company would have those parts on hand. I ended up taking it to microcenter and what DSR couldn't figure out in over a week, they figured out in literally 2 minutes.
Do not waste 75$ on a diagnostic fee, because they wont even diagnose the issue properly. I spent hundreds on top of that after being falsely guaranteed. It took over a week and a half to not get my computer fixed.
EDIT:...
Read moreWhat an incredibly unusual experience it was to work with DSR. I had a NIGHTMARE situation that if not resolved would have affected by ability to honor a commitment to a client. Lenovo CONSISTENTLY provides TERRIBLE customer service to private individuals, so I didn't trust their having said they'd ship a critical part on time. Instead, I called DSR. They moved heaven and earth on my behalf - cheerfully and immediately - with the result that I can easily meet my client commitment. Here's the thing: When was the last time your initial call to a tech service company was handled pleasantly and helpfully from the start? When was the last time they communicated to you in a way that made you realize they really did understand what your issues were? When was the last time they thought outside the box, took initiative that was way above and beyond anyone else on the planet? Seriously - without exaggerating one iota - that's exactly what DSR did.
I would rather pay them for any future tech issues I have than to ever again deal directly with Lenovo. DSR made everything quick, painless, efficient, and pleasant! Specific shout outs to Kara and Gary for their professionalism,...
Read moreDSR is AMAZING!!! I took my MacBook in due to a swollen battery issue (which almost burst not only destroying my computer but setting fire to my house as well), and I needed a couple of screws turned loose that had become stripped in order to release the battery from the frame. I was so scared the battery was going to start leaking or worse, and after going to the Genius bar (surprise, surprise, no help), calling Apple Support (no help either), and Best Buy geek squad (more like useless squad), I went to DSR and in less than 30 mins they were able to release the screws, and properly disposed of the battery! Not to mention, they were able to salvage one of the screws so I could secure the new battery back! They are life savers, and didn't try to push any new annoying products on me to buy unlike the other places who just wanted me to shell out another 2 grand for a new computer, they just did the work, gave me good advice, and sent me on my way with my MacBook still intact. I replaced the battery myself and it's working great! If I have any computer issues in the future, I will be coming back here. They are professional, courteous, and...
