Recently purchased a new sectional from Jay's furniture barn and I couldn't be happier with how everything went, from the selection at the store/barn to the delivery. Cassey was professional and friendly, she even talked me out of a purchase that wouldn't have been right for my home and this made me trust her that much more. She worked with us on price and gave us a deal when I also purchased a complimenting area rug and side table. The delivery was flawless and the gentlemen were very professional as well. They set everything up, including the rug and wouldn't even stand on it to get back around to leave because he didn't want to get it dirty with his boots. Very happy with our choice to shop at Jay's furniture barn.

Update - I cannot express how impressed with Jay's furniture barn and more specifically Cassey, I am. After just a couple month I noticed that the cushions, which are attached to the back of the couch, split away from one another. I called Cassey and they told me to bring it back in. They re-upholstered it for me. I mean, what, that's awesome. I have big dogs and the previous placement of the couch, in front of a window, likely were the cause of the separation and Jay's didn't hesitate to fix this for us. The couch will not be put back in the same location as to try to prevent this issue again. But man, I cannot say enough good things about this store and it's employees! Happy...

I was in and talked to Casey about taking my mother in to look at reclining chairs. I told her she was 98 years old and blind so she would have to sit in a few to decide. She said what about a lift chair and I replied that I had gotten her one a couple years ago and she said she didn't need a lift chair and she really didn't take the change very good so I let her have her old chair back and donated the lift chair. Cassey said I can work with her when you bring her in. Park along the side and that way she doesn't have to go all through the store. That was really great because I didn't know how I was going to get her to the different levels. We got there and she suggested a reclining chair and I didn't really want one with a break at the knees. So Cassie asked my mom why she didn't want a lift chair and mom stated she had too much room in it so that meant she wanted something smaller to be tighter in the seat. So Cassie said I have a great one right here for you to try. My mom loved that chair. We proceeded to yell her that there was a few more we wanted her to try. I was concerned the hand control had too many buttons and confuse her. My mom kept saying after she sat in each chair that she liked the first chair better. That is the one she got. Been a while since I actually bought anything from Jay's, but I stopped in recently to shop around because the recliner I bought here in 2002 is (finally) getting to the point it's time for a replacement. Sorry I don't recall the brand or model but it did last 20+ years so that chair manufacturer definitely knew what they were doing!

Yes, the prices aren't as low as some competitors. They honestly range from about the same price or somewhat cheaper. But this is a locally owned business and I'd rather have my money going there than to the descendants of Sam Walton or whoever.

It's an actual barn. There's no heat. Wear a sweatshirt this time of year. If you were born and raised in Michigan and you can't handle being cold for a few minutes.... I honestly don't know what to tell you. My thought is that the money they save not heating the barn goes to some Pentagon level pest control, because you'd think an old barn would have enough bugs and rodents to destroy any upholstered furniture in a few days, but everything there looked untouched. I might have to ask once I go in to get a new recliner. 🤣

And I like the radio ads, even though I haven't heard one in a while (don't listen to a lot of broadcast radio much these days). But if it annoys Southern tourists enough to write a bad review, keep it up. 😁 Ma honestly doesn't even sound "southern" to me...

**UPDATE** If you have an issue Aaron the store manager is who you need to speak with!! Once he saw the reviews I posted due to no help from customer service he came through for us!! He had bob kirsch come out fix our table! Now the set is everything I wanted it to be!! Thank you Aaron for all your hard work getting this situation settled!! I bought an Indian Rosewood table that cost over $2000 when I open the package the table top was already scratched the chairs are wobbly and where the wood seams look broken and poorly put together it sticks up and catches on clothing!!! I immediately notified Casey Who asked me to send in pictures of the damage which I did on April 19th and she said their maintenance department would get back to me Within a Few days time. I never received an answer!! We finally open the chairs to find out that they were damage to so I also sent her that information on April 26 and again she said that maintenance would reach out to us. A week or two later my husband called in and we got the same story that maintenance would reach out to us!! It is now July 9 we have never received any correspondence and I have an expensive table with blemishes!!!! At the very least I should’ve been offered a discount if they were not gonna do nothing!!

And I found the one I loved! And fit! 🤗 we kept shopping around that day to different stores, and I always was going back to the one I found at Jay's and comparing them! The price was just right, compared to the other ones I tried, where double, or triple the price! Went back the next day to pick it up with a friend, and was on our way in no time! They have tons of cute things gs there! And we'll stocked! I will definitely be back in the future! Thank you, Jay's Furniture Barn, for a great experience! Ps. The salespeople don't swarm u as soon as u come in, and that's so so nice. They let u look around before they find u and ask if they can help.

A "SHOUT OUT" to Jay's FB for their outstanding customer service. I purchased a new dining room table and chairs 2 years ago. I started having finish issues and called to asked about possible warranty. Well, manufacturers warranty is only 1 year. However, Aaron said if I brought it to him he would repair it as a customer service. I did, and He did. It is now better than it was when new. "Thank You Aaron".
