Place a order now for anytime and holiday or summer events. And place 3 or More

McLaughlin Distillery Good morning all you gorgeous gals and guys,

🥒 It’s Picklesburgh Week, and Pittsburgh is brining itself in glory. 🥒

Starting Friday, the city goes full tilt—no warning, no hesitation, just straight into the vinegar-slick chaos that is Picklesburgh. And this year? It’s wilder than ever.

🗓️ Friday, July 11 – Sunday, July 13 🕛 Friday & Saturday: Noon–10PM | Sunday: Noon–6PM 📍 6th & 7th Street Bridges, Fort Duquesne Blvd, Market Square, and basically anywhere downtown that isn’t under construction

What started as a quirky celebration of a humble sandwich side has become a full-scale cultural moment. We’re talking streets packed with pickle slushies, pickle tacos, pickle donuts. A mechanical pickle—yes, a mechanical pickle—you can actually ride. Not metaphorically. Literally. Like a bull. But greener and slightly unsettling.

There’s a whole dill-themed decathlon happening this year: Bobbing for pickles. Chugging pickle juice by the quart. Competitive eating contests where people risk it all in the name of briny glory. Somewhere in that crowd, someone will achieve local legend status with a mouth full of gherkins and zero regrets.

It’s messy. It’s loud. It smells like vinegar and ambition. And if you’re lucky, you might walk away with a foam crown and a title like Baron of Bobbing or Earl of Eating, which is somehow both ridiculous and deeply respectable.

We’ll be set up right on 6th Street, handing out samples and watching it all unfold. The outfits will be questionable. The snacks will be unforgettable. And the energy? Pure, unfiltered Pittsburgh.

So show up. Take it all in. You don’t have to love pickles to love Picklesburgh—but it definitely helps.

🥒 Dill-ivered With Zero Regret. There’s no graceful way to introduce this bottle. You either get it, or you don’t. And if you don’t—step aside. Because this is for the chosen. The brine-born. The folks who save the pickle juice and whisper “don’t worry, I’ll come back for you” before sealing the lid.

Pickle Moonshine is our loud, proud, absolutely bonkers ode to Picklesburgh. It smells like fresh-cut dill straight from the jar. Tastes like a neon green fever dream. And finishes like a punchline to a joke only Pittsburghers understand.

This is what you bring to brunch when mimosas aren’t cutting it. This is what you pour into a martini when you want to cause a little scene. This is what you shoot before riding a mechanical pickle in front of strangers and realizing you’ve never felt more alive.

It’s smooth in the way biting into a crisp deli spear is smooth. Sharp, salty, fresh, feral. You’ll take one sip and instantly crave a hoagie, a nap, and maybe a pep talk.

And in honor of this city’s most glorious, vinegary weekend of the year, we’re dropping it for $10.99—available Wednesday, July 9 through Sunday, July 13 online, at the distillery, and right in the thick of the chaos on 6th Street.

There’s no garnish, no citrus twist, no “notes of oak” here. This is pure, unapologetic dill pickle juice—distilled, weaponized, and handed to you in a glass like someone just dared you to feel something again.

You might raise an eyebrow. You might make a face. You might black out for six seconds and wake up bobbing for pickles with a championship ribbon on your chest.

But one thing’s for sure: You’ll never forget it.

Come try it. Come buy it. Or just come stand near it and absorb the confidence.

My husband and I visited for date night a little over a year ago. We took the tour, learned a few things, which was impressive..my husband is a bourbon fanatic and I am a whiskey lover in general as well as a plcb employee for a decade with lots of libation education under my belt. We are also both veterans, and if you are a veteran, you know that's an education in booze all it's own. Kim is also a veteran, which we both appreciated and were happy to shop with a brother. The employees were fantastic as well, cheerful, funny and knowledgeable. We mixed a "Manhattan" using just the different flavors of moonshine and bourbon. So much fun! All the products are excellent..my favorites are the hokey pokey and the chocolate. We splurged on a baby barrel bourbon and a Burlington. Both were phenomenal and worth every penny! Devils juice is something else..I think everyone should at least try it. I didnt buy because I wasnt sure I could finish a bottle, but as a rare treat it was a lovely experience. We dont usually buy many bottles when we shop for whiskey, but we left with 8 bottles that day, and I've stopped in for at least 4 more on several occasions since. By far my favorite shine, and some dang good...

Treat your taste buds with a trip to this flavor amusement park! Just off I79 you'll find a gravel parking lot and a house full of friendly people and interesting spirits. I stuck with tasting their whiskey offerings and came away with a bottle of their Baby Barrel Bourbon, full of flavor from being aged in a 2.5 gallon barrel. I rarely spend that much on a bottle, but it's worth every penny. We visited on a weekday and the staff took time to answer my geeky questions about their process, equipment, mash bill, etc. The whiskey mash bill is 100% corn. Sometimes you see this done as a shortcut by moonshine-centric distillers who want to say they have a whiskey. McLaughlin is far far above that with their craft. In this case the pure corn mash bill is simply the owner's preference, and the resulting product speaks for itself with a full and complex nose and flavors. They have libations from creamy sweet Suzy Snowflakes Vanilla Cream Liqueur to the in-your-face Devil's Juice #5. Don't miss this destination - you'll be highly rewarded for the...

I heard great things about them and had to try it for myself. Fortunately for me they attended the infamous Picklesburgh where they gave out samples and had everything on hand. I honestly forget his name but he had his face on the root beer liqueur. He helped us so much and was so humble and kind. We bought the Suzy snowflake vanilla liqueur, it’s smooth, sweet and boozy for $40. Perfect for all year around. It tastes similar to a sugar cookie and he told up to try with ice cream so of course we had to. Let me tell you it was phenomenal, so good it became our drink of choice for a whole week! On top of that they offered a pickle moonshine for only $10. It’s limited edition and was perfect during Picklesburgh. Most importantly no hangover groggy feelings afterwards.

Spotted a sign nearby and decided to track them down. Fun, handwritten signs guide you from the road to the house. Inside, a motorized rocking chair cradles a cask and a row of bottles greets the eye. The gentleman behind the counter was happy to help us sample, but didn't really talk about the products- we had to ask questions to learn anything. The moonshine was awesome- each one was distinct and delicious! I wasn't as much a fan of the whiskeys- the taste was sharper than I generally like. The owner came out after we tasted and took us in the back to see the mash drums and still. He makes all their barrels, and showed us the process and works in progress in the workshop. All in all it was a cool experience, and I'm glad we stumbled in!

I discovered this amazing distillery while wandering around downtown Pittsburgh and decided to visit their main location about an hour north on I-79 on my way back home. I’m so glad I made the detour—it was absolutely worth it. The distillery has a fun, relaxed vibe, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They offer a wide range of creative moonshine flavors (AND THEY ARE AMAZING!!!), and even though I’m not a bourbon drinker, theirs was surprisingly great. The tour was super cool and informative. My only issue? Figuring out how to get all the bottles I bought back over the border! A must-visit if you’re anywhere near Pittsburgh.
